- RLray lepushMay 9, 20261.0I am very disappointed with the customer service I received from the duty manager, Alice, at this pet shop. As a first-time hamster buyer, I expected patience, advice, and clear explanations about what my pet would need. Instead, I was treated as if I was bothering her the entire time. Alice constantly looked annoyed and unhappy to help, like being asked questions was interrupting something more important. Her attitude was extremely unpleasant and unwelcoming. I had to spend around 30 minutes walking around the store trying to find someone to assist me, and when I finally got help, I still did not receive proper explanations or guidance. I completely understand that animals need appropriate care and suitable cages, and I was ready to listen and learn. The problem was not the recommendations themselves- it was the way she were communicated. Everything felt cold, dismissive, and pressured, as though the only focus was making me buy a much more expensive cage without taking the time to properly explain why. For a new customer, especially someone buying a pet for the first time, this experience was honestly upsetting. A pet shop should make people feel supported and informed, not uncomfortable and unwelcome. Please consider this review as a formal complaint regarding the customer service provided by Alice. I hope the store improves the way customers are treated in the future, because at the moment the atmosphere and attitude make people not want to return.
